Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident workers in the Riverina and Murray Region in 2021shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Managers (11,107 people or 15.8%)
- Professionals (10,855 people or 15.5%)
- Labourers (9,836 people or 14.0%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 31,798 people in total or 45.3% of the resident workers (All industries).
In comparison, New South Wales employed 14.6% in Managers; 25.8% in Professionals and 8.2% in Labourers.
