An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the City of Onkaparinga in 2022/23 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($1,937 million or 24.3%)
- Public Administration and Safety ($932 million or 11.7%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance ($859 million or 10.8%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $3,728 million in total or 46.7% of the total imports by industry in the the City of Onkaparinga.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 29.7% in Manufacturing; 7.1% in Public Administration and Safety and 6.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
The major differences between total imports by industries of the City of Onkaparinga and South Australia were:
