An analysis of the total imports by industry sectors in the City of Onkaparinga in 2020/21 shows the three largest industries were:
- Manufacturing ($1,957 million or 26.2%)
- Public Administration and Safety ($933 million or 12.5%)
- Financial and Insurance Services ($879 million or 11.8%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $3,769 million in total or 50.5% of the total imports by industry in the the City of Onkaparinga.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in South Australia accounted for 32.1% in Manufacturing; 8.1% in Public Administration and Safety and 9.8% in Financial and Insurance Services.
The major differences between total imports by industries of the City of Onkaparinga and South Australia were:
- A smaller percentage of total imports by Manufacturing (26.2% compared to 32.1%)
