- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($150 million or 23.4%)
- Manufacturing ($96 million or 15.0%)
- Mining ($76 million or 12.0%)
In combination these three industries accounted for $322 million in total or 50.4% of the total exports by total industry in Ballina Shire.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 3.8% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 14.8% in Manufacturing; and 5.3% in Mining.
