  • Manufacturing ($545 million or 32.6%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services ($211 million or 12.6%)
  • Wholesale Trade ($136 million or 8.1%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $892 million in total or 53.3% of the total imports by total industry in Ballina Shire.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 32.5% in Manufacturing; 9.9% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 4.6% in Wholesale Trade.

The major differences between total imports by industries in Ballina Shire and New South Wales were:
