  • Manufacturing ($142 million or 20.6%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing ($120 million or 17.4%)
  • Arts and Recreation Services ($61 million or 8.8%)

In combination these three industries accounted for $323 million in total or 46.8% of the total imports by industry in the Ballina Shire.

In comparison, the same 3 industries in New South Wales accounted for 15.7% in Manufacturing; 3.3% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing and 1.4% in Arts and Recreation Services.

The major differences between total imports by industries of Ballina Shire and New South Wales were:
