Dominant groups
An analysis of the total exports by industry sectors in the City of Mandurah in 2021/22 shows the three largest industries were:
- Mining (1,745 million or 59.3%)
- Manufacturing (537 million or 18.2%)
- Retail Trade (138 million or 4.7%)
In combination these three industries accounted for 2,420 million in total or 82.3% of the total exports by industry in the the City of Mandurah.
In comparison, the same 3 industries in Western Australia accounted for 54.9% in Mining; 11.9% in Manufacturing and 1.6% in Retail Trade.
The major differences between the total exports by industries of the City of Mandurah and Western Australia were:
- A larger percentage of total exports by Manufacturing (18.2% compared to 11.9%)
- A larger percentage of total exports by Mining (59.3% compared to 54.9%)
